Areas
Areas are the locations where the player can engage in combat. The player can choose an area and select from a list of enemies found in that area to fight (With the exception on Dungeon Areas). These areas are given difficulty ratings from to . There are three categories of areas.
Combat Areas
These are the normal areas. They don't have any special debuffs for fighting enemies and they don't need special items to enter them.

Slayer Areas
The slayer areas give the player debuffs while fighting in them. Some areas require a specific item to be equiped to enter them. These debuffs can be negated to some extent using special slayer gear.

Dungeons
Dungeons work differently. You don't get a list of enemies to fight, you instead choose a dungeon and have to fight through one or more waves of enemies before fighting a boss. Each dungeon has it's own pet the player can unlock.
