Melvor Idle
Melvor Idle as the name suggests is an idle game, themed around the MMORPG game Runescape.
Many idles games have gameplay mechanics where you reset your progress in exchange for some sort of permanent buff for the next playthrough. Melvor Idle has no such mechanic, which is part of the reason I like it so much.
The task of the game is to reach 100% completion by mastering all skills, finding all items and pets, and beating all enemies and dungeons.
Melvor idle costs around $15 for the base game, and the current DLC TOTH costs about $7.50.
I chose this as my pet project because I have been playing this game a lot, and actually reached a milestone while working on this website. There is a wiki for this game, but I have avoided reading it for this and everything on here is about my own knowledge and experience of the game. This may mean some infomation may be missing or no longer correct.
